Territory Sales Engineer

A leading electrical equipment manufacturer is seeking a Territory Sales Engineer to manage customer relationships and drive sales growth across the western territory. This role blends technical sales, account development, and cross‑functional collaboration for the utility markets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow utility, industrial, and distribution customer relationships within the territory.
  • Develop and execute territory plans, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities from discovery through close.
  • Provide technical sales support and deliver customer presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and distribution partners.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting, and forecasts.
  • Participate in factory tours and acceptance testing as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of technical sales experience.
  • Extensive knowledge with utility sales.
  • Working knowledge of power systems and medium‑voltage products.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer‑facing skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
