Overview

We are seeking an experienced operational leader to guide the setup, growth, and ongoing performance of a new manufacturing environment. This role focuses on establishing foundational processes, supporting a large workforce, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations in a dynamic setting. The position plays a key part in helping the organization meet its long‑term goals and adapt to evolving business needs.


Responsibilities

Operational Setup

  • Support planning and coordination for developing a new operational site.
  • Assist with creating general workflows, selecting equipment, and preparing the environment for production.
  • Help establish early processes related to staffing, training, safety, and readiness.

Daily Operations

  • Oversee a broad range of operational teams and functions.
  • Drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure alignment between day‑to‑day operations and organizational objectives.
  • Build and guide a leadership group capable of supporting ongoing growth.

Facilities & Compliance

  • Oversee basic facility needs such as infrastructure, utilities, and general maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate with appropriate internal partners on regulatory or environmental matters.

People Leadership

  • Collaborate with HR on staffing needs, employee development, and workforce planning.
  • Support employee engagement and team culture.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or operations leadership.
  • Background in building or supporting large operational teams.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and contributing to large projects.
  • Ability to work across functions and support major organizational initiatives.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to perform office‑based work as well as move throughout a facility.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in various settings.
