Core Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Client Engagement

  • Design and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals and increase market penetration.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with existing clients to identify new opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Actively target and engage high-potential industries in need of logistics, warehousing, and transportation services.
  • Establish strong connections with key decision-makers across prospective and current client organizations.
  • Deliver tailored logistics solutions that align with client needs, enhancing value and competitive differentiation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to elevate brand visibility and generate leads.

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and inspire a results-oriented sales team to exceed performance targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback to support professional growth and team success.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor KPIs, and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and recognition.

Operational Alignment & Financial Oversight

  • Ensure accurate CRM usage for pipeline visibility, opportunity tracking, and forecasting.
  • Deliver regular performance reports, market insights, and revenue forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Align sales initiatives with operational capabilities to ensure seamless service execution.

Market Intelligence & Business Innovation

  • Analyze competitor activities, pricing models, and service offerings to inform strategy.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Drive innovation in sales tactics, leveraging data and technology to enhance the company's market position.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of successful sales experience in 3PL, warehousing, and transportation, with a diverse client base including BCOs, freight forwarders, and manufacturers.
  • Proven track record in outside sales and a deep understanding of the sales life cycle.
  • Strong background in business development and strategic growth planning.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems for sales tracking and performance analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
