A successful Food business, continuing to scale, is now looking to hire a New VP Supply Chain, to report directly to their CEO and help propel the company, its operations, and Supply Chain to the next level. This role oversees the End2End Supply Chain for the business, including Warehousing & Distribution, Procurement & Sourcing, Logistics & Transportation, Materials Management, Inventory and Demand Planning/Scheduling, whilst managing a team of talented direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of approx. 6 senior direct reports
- Enhance supply chain capabilities in procurement, sourcing, demand planning, warehousing, distribution, logistics, replenishment, order management, inventory management.
- Build procedures for efficient, honest, economical, and productive purchasing of goods and materials for supply chain production and operation.
- Develop supply chain, strategic sourcing and sales and operations planning solutions that support corporate growth objectives.
- Lead and manage a formal sales and operations planning process (S&OP), including demand planning in partnership with the FP&A team.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators for suppliers that are in alignment with company goals and strategies and implement plans to improve supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs.
- Review performance and pioneer new best practice initiatives for warehousing and distribution
- Significantly improve planning inventory flow, analyzing statistical data, and generating forecasting solutions.
- Interact with peers, direct reports, and other employees in a manner that reflects leadership, fosters open two-way communications, and contributes to superior employee relations throughout the company.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- 10+yrs Supply Chain Leadership experience in the Food industry
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in an analytical subject)
- Extensive track record of enhancing and building Supply Chain infrastructure
- Significant Accomplishments in People, Process, and Cost Savings
- Experience making data-driven decisions to maximize profitability
