Summary

Due to continued growth and technological advancement, the company is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to support and optimize its complex process equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve process and equipment issues to support production goals
  • Interpret and work from electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, and specifications
  • Document project outcomes and technical solutions thoroughly
  • Work with sensors, thermocouples (TCs), switches, motors, and actuators
  • Apply technical standards to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment reliability
  • Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley ControlLogix systems (v20 and above)
  • Partner with and train maintenance teams to enhance plant-wide troubleshooting capabilities
  • Leverage expertise in 3-phase electrical systems, motion control, electro-mechanical systems, VFDs, servo programming, and industrial communication protocols to drive operational excellence.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting and debugging
  • Proficiency in HMI design and VFD troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems and automation
