Position: Maintenance Technician III - Electrical
In this role, you will be responsible for electrical controls, equipment, and wiring within our facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your duties will include testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems. You will interpret blueprints, stay current with local electrical codes, and help ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct electronic tests and inspections
  • Clean contacts and circuit boards, ensure proper grounding
  • Install outlets, lighting fixtures, and switches
  • Perform preventative maintenance (e.g., oiling motors, replacing wiring)
  • Maintain logs of labor, materials, and equipment usage
  • Calibrate and inspect instruments
  • Respond to emergency maintenance needs
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Wire machines and panels according to blueprints
  • Recommend and implement necessary repairs
  • Interface with customers to support equipment repairs

Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic testing and inspections
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Skilled in calibration and troubleshooting
  • Capable of responding to urgent maintenance issues
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and wiring systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking, talking, and hearing
  • Occasional standing, sitting, and manual dexterity
