The Inventory Manager will be responsible for:
- Parts and supplies, purchasing, organization, inventory and storeroom activities to the engineering, operations and maintenance departments.
- Works closely with Maintenance management in cost savings initiatives
- Develop knowledge and execution of the storeroom/ MRO
- Monitor MRO parts inventory levels, identify critical stock items to ensure timely availability of required components for maintenance activities
- Cost savings - defining areas of improvements for the wider business
The Inventory Manager should have the following qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in inventory management/ supply chain, technical services, and/or the purchase of spare parts and equipment.
- Industry experience in Pharma, Food and Beverage, or Chemicals preferred
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, electrical components, and maintenance practices
- Experience in a plant/warehouse environment
- Experience with SAP
- Comfortable in Excel and Microsoft Office
This is a full time permanent position, 5x days a week onsite in upstate New York.
