Mechanical Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design activities for automated equipment, assemblies, and sub‑systems from concept through production.
- Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, tolerance analyses, and BOMs using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo).
- Perform engineering calculations, material selection, and design validation for strength, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Support prototype builds, testing, commissioning, and root‑cause analysis for mechanical issues.
- Work with suppliers and fabrication partners to ensure design intent and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance, sustainability, and lifecycle durability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in mechanical design within manufacturing environment is desired.
- Strong proficiency in CAD design and engineering documentation.
- Solid understanding of mechanisms, motion systems, pneumatics, structural analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with GD&T, DFMA, and PDM/PLM systems is preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are required.
