Business Development Manager
DSJ Global is partnering with a leading, globally recognised logistics provider to appoint a Business Development Manager focused on growth within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
This is a pure hunter role, suited to a highly driven commercial professional who thrives on winning new business and building long‑term client relationships in a solutions‑based logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, target, and win new pharmaceutical and healthcare clients
- Sell airfreight solutions as a primary product, with exposure to broader multimodal offerings where relevant
- Develop and execute a structured business development strategy aligned with regional growth goals
- Attend weekly client meetings, including regular travel to support new business acquisition
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Act as a trusted logistics partner to clients, understanding complex healthcare supply chain requirements
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in selling airfreight AND/OR time-critical solutions (essential)
- Background selling logistics solutions to pharmaceutical and/or healthcare clients
- Strong hunting mentality with a track record of new business acquisition
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing a full sales cycle
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Based in Barcelona or willing to commute
