CAPEX Procurement Manager
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 base salary
Summary
We are seeking a CAPEX Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities for capital equipment, facilities, and large-scale investment projects. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Project Management to ensure capital purchases are cost-effective, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement for CAPEX projects including equipment, tooling, construction, and infrastructure
- Develop sourcing strategies, run RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier selection
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to align technical requirements with commercial terms
- Manage supplier relationships and performance for capital vendors
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows, and financial controls
- Support project timelines by managing lead times, risks, and change orders
- Track savings, spend, and capital budgets; provide reporting to leadership
- Identify cost reduction and standardization opportunities across capital spend
Qualifications
- 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience with a focus on CAPEX
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or facilities-driven environments
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a project-based setting
- Bachelor's degree preferred
