About the Role

The Field Sales Manager plays a critical leadership role responsible for driving profitable revenue growth while overseeing all aspects of field sales execution. This position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on selling, including active participation in customer meetings, territory coverage, and major account management. The role is accountable for sales performance, product mix optimization, pipeline accuracy, and forecasting, while applying a strong understanding of plant capabilities, estimating, and profitability. In addition, the Field Sales Manager recruits, develops, and motivates a high‑performing sales team, responds to market changes, and partners closely with operations to ensure alignment between customer demand and production efficiency.

Job Requirements

* Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of field sales representatives
* Drive sales volume, product mix, and margin performance
* Maintain strong relationships with key and strategic accounts
* Ensure accuracy of the sales funnel, forecasting, and reporting
* Actively call on customers and travel with sales team members
* Apply working knowledge of P&L, pricing, and estimating
* Monitor market trends and recommend operational or product changes

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required
* Five or more years of experience in the corrugated industry
* Five or more years of sales leadership or supervisory experience
* Strong financial, analytical, and negotiation skills
* Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales talent
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
