Compensation
Base Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 (plus bonus and long-term incentives)
Role Summary
The Vice President of Supply Chain & Procurement leads regional strategy and execution across strategic procurement, operational purchasing, project procurement, supplier development, and logistics within an industrial manufacturing environment. This role oversees Category Managers, Sourcing Managers, Buyers, Supplier Development Engineers, and Logistics teams, partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Quality to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional supply chain and procurement strategies aligned with business, margin, and growth objectives
- Lead category strategy, negotiations, contracts, and commodity risk mitigation across direct and indirect spend
- Oversee operational and project procurement supporting production, capital projects, and new product introductions
- Drive supplier performance through development, audits, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead logistics strategy across inbound/outbound transportation, inventory positioning, and network optimization
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing regional supply chain teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Mechanical Engineering
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing supply chain environments
- Proven experience leading procurement, supplier development, and logistics organizations
- Strong negotiation, financial, and stakeholder leadership skills
