Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels daily using DN (inventory system) to ensure availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Build, extract, and package inventory orders based on production needs.
- Prepare and deliver weekly inventory summaries to department leads.
- Lead weekly inventory meetings with production and receiving teams.
Purchasing & Cost Analysis
- Identify and evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, and quality.
- Source packaging materials and coordinate dieline creation with design and production teams.
- Gather quotes and compare costs, lead times, and supplier capabilities.
- Collaborate with marketing and compliance for packaging approvals.
- Maintain accurate cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) data to support financial planning.
Reporting & Data Management
- Review inventory valuations in DN and generate monthly reports for the CFO.
- Create monthly production-to-shipping reports to assess operational efficiency.
- Analyze raw material usage trends to forecast reorder points and reduce waste.
SKU & System Updates
- Create and input new SKUs into DN and OC inventory/order systems.
- Maintain accurate system entries to reflect real-time inventory data.
Cross-Department Coordination
- Lead weekly meetings with production to review open orders and inventory dependencies.
- Act as liaison between production, receiving, marketing, compliance, and finance to streamline processes.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or operations management.
Skills & Requirements
- Proficient in inventory/order systems (DN, OC) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with vendor negotiations and cost analysis preferred.

Work Environment & Requirements
- Primarily onsite in an office and warehouse setting.
- Regular exposure to warehouse environments with fluctuating temperatures.
- Ability to walk warehouse floors and conduct physical inventory counts.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Frequent use of computer, scanner, and related office tools.
- Occasional travel between facilities; reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
