Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic maintenance planning for a team of multi-skilled technicians across three shifts, ensuring optimal resource allocation and uptime.
- Prioritize and execute work orders by defining required materials, coordinating internal skilled trades, and managing external vendor partnerships.
- Lead and evolve the preventive maintenance program, collaborating with OEMs and equipment vendors to align on rebuild schedules and lifecycle management.
- Streamline repair and overhaul processes by assembling comprehensive parts kits, managing maintenance backlog, and orchestrating planned shutdowns with precision.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring meticulous documentation and data integrity within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Champion CMMS adoption and training, empowering cross-functional teams and supporting continuous improvement (CI) and Lean initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, maintaining accurate calibration records and documentation aligned with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Provide hands-on field support, including work in elevated areas, confined spaces, and variable temperature environments-demonstrating a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or equivalent technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, or asset management within a high-compliance manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and quality teams, driving alignment and execution.
- Industry experience in food, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
- Working knowledge of EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability) standards and experience in unionized settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Maximo, eMaint), and data-driven decision-making.
- Comfortable working in challenging field conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and temperature extremes.
