One of our leading food and beverage manufacturing clients is looking to bring on a Maintenance Planner to support the maintenance and reliability of all plant equipment. This person will play a critical role in supporting equipment reliability, maintenance execution, and overall plant performance.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Planner include:
- 4+ years of maintenance planning, maintenance supervision, or reliability experience within a manufacturing, packaging, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and maintenance best practices.
- Experience coordinating maintenance schedules, plant shutdowns, work orders, and mechanical and electrical maintenance activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Project management or capital project experience preferred; flexibility to support off-shift and weekend activities as needed.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Planner include:
- Manage the facility's CMMS, including work orders, asset records, maintenance schedules, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to support the maintenance and reliability of all plant equipment and machinery.
- Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns, major maintenance activities, and equipment downtime events to ensure efficient execution.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with Operations, ensuring labor, materials, contractors, and replacement parts are available for planned work.
- Support equipment reliability initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, equipment upgrades, and capital projects throughout the facility.
- Manage spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and maintenance-related purchasing activities while promoting safe work practices.
