Maintenance Supervisor needed for Leading Food and Beverage Manufacturer.

  • Shift: 2nd (2pm-11:30pm) or 3rd (10:30pm-7am)

One of our leading food and beverage manufacturing clients is looking to bring on a strong supervisor to lead a team of technicians. This person will be instrumental in maximizing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and driving operational excellence throughout the facility.

Qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisor include:

  • 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; food or pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and safety programs.
  • Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and automated production systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Union manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Supervisor Include:

  • Lead and support a team of 7-8 Maintenance Technicians, providing coaching, training, and daily direction.
  • Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and oversee repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Partner with Production and Engineering teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor maintenance performance, work orders, and labor utilization to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
  • Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures, conducting training, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
