One of our leading food and beverage manufacturing clients is looking to bring on a strong supervisor to lead a team of technicians. This person will be instrumental in maximizing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and driving operational excellence throughout the facility.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisor include:
- 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; food or pharmaceutical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and safety programs.
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and automated production systems preferred.
- Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Union manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Supervisor Include:
- Lead and support a team of 7-8 Maintenance Technicians, providing coaching, training, and daily direction.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and oversee repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Partner with Production and Engineering teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Monitor maintenance performance, work orders, and labor utilization to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures, conducting training, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
