Role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing equipment repair activities, preventive maintenance programs, and daily maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility. This role leads maintenance personnel, ensures equipment reliability, supports production objectives, promotes workplace safety, and coordinates maintenance activities across the plant.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all production equipment is maintained in a condition that supports operational, quality, and productivity objectives.
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Conduct regular maintenance team meetings to review priorities, safety, and performance.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers, contractors, suppliers, and technical service representatives as needed.
- Oversee the operation of the maintenance shop, spare parts inventory, and parts management processes.
- Monitor plant systems used for equipment performance and production data collection.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of equipment and facility issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of maintenance leadership, supervisory, or related industrial maintenance experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and experience will be considered.
