Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team across wastewater, land surveying, geotechnical, environmental, and related disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Marketing Seniors, Specialists, and Coordinators.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
- Support business development efforts through client engagement strategies and value proposition development.
- Ensure quality control and QA/QC standards across all marketing deliverables.
- Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across materials.
- Analyze market, client, and competitor data to identify growth opportunities and guide strategy.
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning, regional marketing initiatives, and market expansion efforts.
- Monitor industry, legislative, and regulatory trends affecting business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing leaders across offices to drive best practices and consistency.
- Track marketing performance metrics and pursuit outcomes to improve results.
- Manage team workloads, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on growth and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 7+ years of proposal/marketing experience within the A/E/C or professional services industry, including team leadership. In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience.
- Experience leading proposal, marketing, or business development initiatives and managing staff.
- CPSM certification preferred but not required.
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- High attention to detail with experience overseeing QA/QC of marketing deliverables.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and proposal management tools.
Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000
