Master Planner

A Data Center and AI technology firm is seeking a Master Planner to join their Supply Chain team out of either New York City or San Francisco.

Role: Master Planner

Industry: Data Center, Engineering, Construction

Work Mode: Hybrid in either San Francisco or NYC

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain schedules for pre-construction, contract baselines, and updates, including self-perform work.
  • Change Management: Oversee change orders, delay and productivity claims, and support negotiations and ADR processes.
  • Risk & Contract Review: Guide teams in assessing risks and contract requirements.
  • Mentorship & Training: Mentor Project Controls and Scheduling teams; develop and deliver training programs.
  • Standardization: Collaborate with regional leaders to align best practices and ensure consistency.
  • Financial Oversight: Understand cost/finance systems; evaluate project risks, cash flow, and revenue projections.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years in construction, including 10+ in project controls/scheduling.
  • 7+ years in scheduling and productivity claims.
  • Proven leadership and team development experience.
  • Skilled in CPM scheduling, contract analysis, and claims processes.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, cost systems, and financial projections.
  • Proficient in P6, Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam; familiar with virtual construction tech.
  • Willing to travel locally within the region.
