MRO/Capital Equipment Sourcing Manager
An industrial manufacturing company is looking to hire a Capital Sourcing Manager in Springdale, AR.
Role: Capital Sourcing Manager
Work Model: HYBRID - 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Compensation: $100,000 to $115,000 base plus bonus
Must Have MRO or Capital Equipment sourcing experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for capital equipment (e.g., manufacturing lines, automation systems, packaging equipment, facilities infrastructure.
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, and performance management processes across assigned categories.
- Drive supplier negotiations focused on cost reduction, risk mitigation, value creation, and commercial agreement development.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, pricing, and industry dynamics to identify sourcing opportunities and risks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and business units to support procurement initiatives, supplier innovation, and supply chain optimization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably with direct materials in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA and CPSM/CPIM/C.P.M. certifications preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies, conduct market analysis, and manage supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills, including RFQ/RFP development and cost analysis.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, drive sourcing initiatives, and travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
