National Account Manager

Position Overview
As a National Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic national accounts across retail and/or foodservice channels. You'll play a key role in driving revenue, expanding market share, and executing customer-specific strategies that align with their brand and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for national customers (e.g., Walmart, Kroger, Sysco, US Foods, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Lead annual business planning, promotional planning, and joint business reviews
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and R&D teams
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade spend to maximize profitability
- Monitor and report on account performance, KPIs, and ROI
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus
- 5+ years of experience in national account management within the food and beverage industry
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth and managing large, complex accounts
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficiency in CRM tools and syndicated data platforms (e.g., Nielsen, IRI)
