A growing plastics manufacturer is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead all aspects of plant operations, driving safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong teams and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives
- Drive production efficiency, machine utilization, and material optimization efforts
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, cGMP requirements, and company procedures
- Foster a strong safety culture and maintain excellent employee relations
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, engineers, and production personnel
- Oversee hiring, training, workforce planning, and performance management
- Support capital equipment installations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with planning, quality, engineering, and operations teams
- Manage plant budgets and deliver results against operational targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred
- 6+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Strong background managing production and supervisory teams
- Experience within plastics manufacturing highly preferred
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and related business systems
