Quality Engineer - Aerospace Programs

Supporting a Leading Aerospace Company

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Quality Engineer to support programs executed in partnership with a leading aerospace company. This role is responsible for ensuring that all contractual, regulatory, and customer‑driven quality requirements are fully defined, communicated, and adhered to throughout every stage of the product lifecycle. As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as a key technical contributor in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, working closely with engineering, production, supply chain, sales, and customer teams to ensure product integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining robust quality controls across receiving, in‑process, and final inspection activities, while also ensuring that internal processes and workflows align with customer expectations, aerospace standards, and quality management system requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing root‑cause analysis, driving corrective and preventive actions, managing documentation, and supporting the growth of a culture that prioritizes quality, precision, and transparency.

Collaboration is essential to success in this role. You will partner daily with internal stakeholders across multiple departments and function as a direct point of contact for customer quality representatives. You will help translate customer expectations into practical, effective quality processes and maintain active communication channels to facilitate problem resolution, documentation updates, and quality‑related improvements. In addition to internal collaboration, you will also interact with suppliers to address issues involving purchased materials, ensuring that nonconforming components are identified, contained, corrected, and prevented from reoccurring.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering background, excellent analytical skills, and demonstrated experience working within a manufacturing environment that demands precision, discipline, and compliance with strict standards. Knowledge of quality engineering tools, manufacturing processes, and documentation practices is essential. Familiarity with aerospace‑specific standards such as AS9100 and AS9102 is strongly preferred. This role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities, respond quickly to changing needs, and maintain clear and accurate records.

This Quality Engineer role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys solving complex problems, working cross‑functionally, and contributing to the manufacturing of products used in aerospace applications. You will play a direct role in supporting mission‑critical systems, maintaining customer confidence, and promoting operational excellence across the organization. If you are eager to bring your engineering expertise to a high‑impact environment, we encourage you to apply.
