Regional Sales Manager
A leading RF & Microwave components and subsystems manufacturer is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the South Central and Southeast regions. They are seeking a results-driven sales professional with a proven track record of developing new business, growing strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue through complex technical sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and expand relationships with key customers across the assigned territory.
- Manage the sales pipeline, maintain accurate forecasts, and execute strategies to achieve revenue objectives.
- Prepare quotations and support the development of complex, high-value proposals, contracts, and customer solutions.
- Lead and manage independent manufacturer representatives, driving accountability, territory performance, and sales growth.
- Conduct account management activities including lead generation, customer qualification, opportunity development, and contract negotiations.
- Leverage market intelligence, industry trends, and technical knowledge to identify and win strategic opportunities.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, engineering, and support teams to support business growth and territory strategy.
- Communicate effectively with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholder through strong written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of sales, business development, or related experience.
- Technical aptitude with RF/microwave products or closely related technologies; ability to
- understand and communicate complex solutions to customers.
- Proven success working with prime defense contractors and managing long-term program
- opportunities from identification through award.
- Experience negotiating and closing high-value contracts and developing account
- strategies that drive market share growth.
- Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning skills with a track record
- of achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and cross-cultural
- collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a
- remote environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance is a plus.
Compensation: $140,000-$165,000
