Overview
A leading international logistics provider is seeking an experienced Road Manager Benelux to take full ownership of its Road Freight business across the Benelux.

Rather than inheriting a mature structure, you will be responsible for redefining the commercial strategy, strengthening operational performance, and building a high-performing Road Freight organization capable of delivering sustainable growth across the Benelux region.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Road Freight strategy across the Benelux region.
- Lead the transformation and further development of the Road Freight business, driving growth, profitability, and market positioning.
- Take full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
- Oversee pricing, tender management, and carrier procurement strategies to maximize profitability and service performance.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and performance management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between commercial and operational objectives.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing management team across the Benelux.
Profile
- Significant leadership experience within Road Freight Forwarding, Transport Logistics, or European Road Transport.
- Proven track record of growing revenue, improving profitability, and developing logistics operations.
- Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational KPIs.
- Capable of balancing long-term strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Inspirational leader with experience building and developing successful teams.
- Comfortable operating within an international and matrix-driven environment.
