Route Analysis Team Leader (Cross Border Ecommerce Logistics)
Our client is a leading logistics and supply chain organization supporting high-volume eCommerce and distribution operations across Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Route Analyst (3PL)- to optimize transportation networks, improve delivery efficiency, and drive data-led operational excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity for logistics professionals with experience in 3PL, last-mile delivery, parcel logistics, express transportation, or eCommerce fulfillment platforms who enjoy leveraging analytics to solve complex operational challenges.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyse transportation and delivery performance across distribution networks, routing operations, and last-mile logistics activities.
- Develop route optimisation strategies to improve delivery efficiency, service levels, fleet utilisation, and operating costs.
- Monitor key transportation KPIs, including delivery lead time, route productivity, vehicle utilisation, distance travelled, and service performance.
- Utilise data analytic tools to identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Operations, Transportation, Planning, Engineering, and Technology teams to implement routing enhancements and process improvements.
- Support network expansion projects, capacity planning, demand forecasting, and transportation modelling initiatives.
- Conduct scenario analysis and simulation studies to evaluate network changes, delivery zones, carrier allocation, and fleet deployment strategies.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and business insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Drive automation initiatives and contribute to digital transformation projects related to transportation planning and route optimisation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in route analytics, transportation planning, logistics engineering, network optimization, or supply chain analytics.
- Experience gained within 3PL providers, eCommerce logistics platforms or distribution networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience with route optimization, geospatial analysis, transportation management systems or logistics planning software is highly desired.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics environment.
- Fluency of English and Chinese is required.
