The Role
As the Senior Demand and Supply Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end planning strategies across the EMEA region. You'll lead forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning processes to ensure product availability, minimize waste, and support commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead demand planning activities in collaboration with commercial, finance, and marketing teams.
- Develop and maintain accurate forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence.
- Oversee supply planning to ensure optimal inventory levels and service performance.
- Drive S&OP processes and lead cross-functional planning meetings.
- Identify and implement process improvements across planning systems and tools.
- Collaborate with global supply chain teams to align regional and global strategies.
- Manage and mentor a small team of planners (depending on structure).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in demand and supply planning, ideally within medical devices, pharma, or FMCG.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.
- Experience working in a matrixed, international environment.
