Position Overview

The Senior Human Resources Operations Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing the core infrastructure of the Human Resources function. This role owns the systems, data, and operational processes that enable informed decision-making, organizational scalability, and exceptional employee experiences.

The Sr. HR Operations Manager leads HR technology initiatives, ensures the secure and compliant management of employee and company data, drives system implementations, migrations, and automation efforts, and brings rigor to compensation planning, workforce data, and people analytics. This position is critical to ensuring the HR function operates with precision, transparency, and forward-looking insights as the organization continues to grow.


Key Responsibilities

HR Systems & Technology

  • Own and manage the HR technology ecosystem, including HRIS, ATS, performance management, engagement, compensation, benefits, and analytics platforms.
  • Lead system implementations, migrations, integrations, and vendor management initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Serve as the HR team's subject matter expert on system capabilities, data flows, reporting, and best practices.

Data Security, Compliance & Integrity

  • Ensure employee and company data is managed securely and in compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Partner closely with IT, Information Security, Finance, and other stakeholders to maintain strong data governance practices.
  • Establish and enforce standards for data accuracy, access controls, documentation, and audit readiness.

People Analytics, Dashboards & Insights

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights into hiring, headcount, turnover, performance, compensation, and employee engagement.
  • Enable executive and departmental reporting to monitor trends, risks, and key workforce indicators.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders.

HR Operations & Project Management

  • Lead HR project planning, execution timelines, resource coordination, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure HR data, documentation, and operational processes remain current, accurate, and well maintained.
  • Create scalable processes, procedures, documentation, and operational standards across the HR function.
  • Centralize and optimize HR back-office operations to improve consistency and efficiency.

Operational Excellence & Infrastructure

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the operational infrastructure supporting the HR organization.
  • Establish workflows, playbooks, service standards, and key performance metrics.
  • Anticipate organizational growth and proactively evolve HR systems, processes, and infrastructure to support scaling initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 6-8+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Analytics, or related functions, including leadership experience.
  • Extensive experience developing, implementing, and scaling HR technology platforms and workforce data infrastructure.
  • Strong background in compensation analysis, workforce planning, and people analytics.
  • Proven success leading complex HR system implementations, migrations, and cross-functional projects.
  • Experience partnering effectively with IT, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and other business functions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or related ADP HRIS platforms.
  • Experience implementing automation, workflow optimization, and reporting solutions within HR environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR data governance, reporting, compliance, and analytics best practices.
