SUPPLY MANAGER
Job Summary
This role is responsible for end-to-end supply execution of polymer and interconnect materials, ensuring consistent supply assurance, capacity readiness, and supplier performance across global manufacturing sites. The position requires strong coordination with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support production ramps, mitigate risks, and drive strategic improvements in supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage material supply execution, including purchase order creation, confirmation, rescheduling, and raw material liability
- Define and implement material buying rules to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
- Monitor and maintain demand fulfillment, safety stock levels, and global inventory targets (WOS)
- Lead supply allocation decisions and resolve shortages through proactive supplier engagement
- Drive supply flexibility and fungibility across the global network to support dynamic production needs
- Publish weekly forecasts to suppliers and lead quarterly business reviews (QBR/ASE) to assess performance
- Oversee supplier end-of-life (EOL) product and process transitions to minimize disruption
- Develop and execute supply strategies, including Tier 1 raw material capacity planning and readiness
- Conduct regular reviews of supplier lead times, capacity constraints, and delivery performance metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and high-volume manufacturing (HVM) ramps
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for supply systems, tools, and processes; drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to align on supply assurance strategies
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure strategic goals are met
- Support productivity improvement initiatives and provide insights on procurement optimization
- Ensure stakeholder requirements are met with a focus on cost of ownership and long-term sustainability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain, procurement, or engineering roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship management abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is a plus
