Technical Sales Account Manager

Company Profile:

A leading organization in the advanced electronics and materials space is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share across a portfolio of PCB fabricator accounts. This role is ideal for a technically fluent, commercially driven sales professional who can balance strategic account management with new business development.

The Sales Account Manager Will Be Responsible for the Following:

  • Own and grow revenue across an assigned base of PCB fabricator accounts, driving both retention and expansion
  • Identify and close new business opportunities by introducing materials into customer circuit designs
  • Build strong relationships with engineering, procurement, and executive stakeholders
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and support on-site evaluations and trials
  • Provide hands-on customer support for material selection, testing, and processing challenges
  • Partner with channel/distribution teams to strengthen product positioning and market coverage
  • Track competitor activity and market trends to inform business strategy
  • Manage territory planning, forecasting, and reporting to drive consistent performance

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience within PCB fabrication, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry
  • 3+ years in outside or technical sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Ability to effectively engage both technical (engineering) and commercial stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Materials Science, Chemical, or related field)
  • Experience with CCL/laminate materials or PCB stack-up design
  • Existing relationships within the PCB fabricator ecosystem
  • Familiarity with North American distribution models within the electronics space

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $130,000 - $161,000 + performance-based bonus
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k)
