Warehouse Manager
A leading international logistics provider is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead multiple operational departments within a highly automated distribution environment in Lelystad.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of large-scale warehouse operations, lead and develop operational teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced and technology-driven logistics setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing performance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the further growth of a strategically important site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop multiple Supervisors and their operational teams.
- Drive operational performance across safety, quality, productivity, and service KPIs.
- Monitor daily warehouse activities and ensure operational targets are consistently achieved.
- Analyse operational data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Drive operational excellence within a highly automated warehouse environment.
- Collaborate closely with Workforce Planning and other support functions to optimize resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Support change management initiatives and operational growth projects.
Profile
- Several years of experience in Warehouse Management, Operations Management, or a similar leadership position.
- Proven experience leading large operational teams through Supervisors or Team Leaders.
- Experience within Contract Logistics, 3PL, Distribution, E-commerce, Retail, Technology, or Supply Chain environments.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and performance management.
- Experience working within automated or mechanized warehouse environments is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
- Experience with WMS and ERP systems.
- Fluent in English.
