Plant Manager required for a Global Food Manufacturing Firm

- Will report to the Director of Operations
A global food production firm is seeking a strong Plant Manager who will be responsible for being a leader while consistently building up employee moral to get maximum effort out of everyone each and everyday
The Plant Manager Will Be Responsible For:
- Mentor, coach and develop plant employees to progress within the organization
- Set production goals so all KPIs are met
- Create and build employee relationships
- Help employees reach their maximum potential by reaching goals
- Utilize LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements in the facility
- Facilitate Kaizen events to produce daily manufacturing goals
- Create a continuous improvement culture within the plant
- Promote a safe work environment at all times
- Must have an executive presence by sitting on global calls
- Monitor plant performance to ensure strong performance
The Plant Manager Should Have The Following Skill Set:
- 5+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing role
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent years experience
- Lean certification is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills are crucial
- Must be able to problem solve and be solution oriented
