Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategy for chemicals category.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market analysis, monitor trends, and drive innovation within the category.
- Collaborate with R&D to enhance existing chemical products and identify new opportunities.
- Oversee supplier performance and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Optimize procurement processes and utilize digital tools for efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Several years of global sourcing experience in the chemical category
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical abilities with a data-driven approach, capable of leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus. Willingness to travel as needed.
