Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing ethanol manufacturing, leading a dedicated production crew in accordance with established standards. Responsibilities include optimizing production processes, ensuring plant cleanliness, and coordinating with various departments for seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize production processes in line with plant goals
- Coordinate production crew schedules for smooth plant operations
- Foster operator training and motivation
- Ensure meticulous documentation, including logs, data collection, and tests
- Enforce cleanliness standards and conduct plant walkthroughs for issue identification
- Facilitate productive shift change meetings for knowledge transfer
- Guarantee adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to SOP development
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in STEM REQUIRED
- 5 years of operations experience in large-scale industrial manufacturing, preferably in continuous process manufacturing with ethanol experience
- 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
