Senior Manager of Quality - CPG

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Quality to join a leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) company specializing in personal care products. We are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet the needs and expectations of our consumers across the globe.
The Senior Manager of Quality will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control within the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, deep technical knowledge of quality management systems, and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Manager of Quality will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products consistently meet regulatory requirements and exceed customer expectations for safety, reliability, and efficacy.
The Senior Quality Manager will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor quality metrics across the manufacturing process, from raw materials sourcing to finished product distribution.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP principles, and other relevant quality standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contract manufacturers, and regulatory agencies, to uphold quality standards and facilitate product approvals.
- Implement quality risk management strategies to anticipate and mitigate potential quality-related risks throughout the product lifecycle.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in quality management to proactively adapt and enhance our quality systems.
The Senior Quality Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Food Science, or related field. Master's degree, preferred.
- 4 years of experience in quality management within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing quality management systems (QMS), preferably in an ISO-certified environment.
- Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or Quality Manager (CQM) is desirable.
