Site Safety Manager
Summary:
DSJ Global has recently partnered with a notable building materials manufacturer who are seeking a hands-on Site Safety Manager to join them at their Virginia site near Smithfield, VA. This individual will implement new and older safety programs and practices, ensure that compliance with OSHA standards are met, and have the ability to assess any risk factors or hazards. Site Safety Manager Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety audits, assessments, investigations, and inspections
- Being the main Point of Contact for site OSHA visits
- Provides safety trainings and assists with corrective actions with senior leadership
- Use Root-Cause Analysis for problem solving
- Collaborate with different departments to reduce any work-related injuries/illnesses
Site Safety Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Safety, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related study
- Strong knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out, Ergonomics, Job Safety Analysis, and Audiometric Testing
- 3-5+ years of safety experience
- Effective Communication abilities
- Ability to lead a team
