My client, a leading Food Manufacturing organization is seeing a Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain to join their growing team. This role plays a crucial role in optimizing and improving supply chain operations within an organization. Job Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze various aspects of the supply chain, including demand forecasting, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement within the supply chain network.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain process and develop strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
- Supplier Management: Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize transportation routes, reduce lead times, and minimize freight costs.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain, such as disruptions in supply, transportation delays, and geopolitical factors, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, finance, and IT, to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement supply chain management software and technologies to streamline processes, improve visibility, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree may be preferred for senior-level positions.
- 4 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field, with a focus on data analysis and process improvement.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Certification(s) in supply chain management or related field (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) may be preferred.
