Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager who will be responsible for the Beverage Category. This individual will develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and purchase product at the best cost.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new suppliers and maintain existing supplier relationships
- Conduct cost analyses, set benchmarks for improvement, and develop risk management procedures to mitigate losses
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine needs and maintain inventory
- Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze data to anticipate price fluctuations and stay up to date with market trends
- Lead and mentor the strategic sourcing team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of Procurement experience for Food or Beverage categories
- Experience leading teams
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
