My client, a Global Oil & Gas Conglomerate, are looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to support with growth and integration of the company, at their site in Hamburg, Germany.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 15+ years experience in Oil & Gas
- 5+ years experience in a management position within Supply Chain
- Fluency in English & German
- Relevant Business/Supply Chain Degree
The candidate is responsible for:
- Overseeing company inventory and product balances.
- Producing weekly and monthly forecasts based on production and customer demand.
- Act as liaison between departments for inventory management, product movement, and safety.
- Negotiating contracts with road and rail haulers and rolling stock providers.
- Managing contracts and performance of logistics providers.
- Coordinating refinery-wide material evacuation.
- Utilising proprietary software for reporting and forecasting.
- Ensuring seamless flow of customer accounts and load IDs.
- Optimising logistics provision for cost efficiency.
- Providing monthly performance reports.
- Managing logistics team, including training and development.
- Maintaining strong relationships with Commercial organisation.
- Implementing internal controls for operational risk management.
