- Monitor delivery performance, quality, and responsiveness; build supplier scorecards and dashboards.
- Act as the first escalation point for late deliveries, backorders, or capacity risks.
- Work with suppliers on root‑cause analysis and recovery plans; ensure corrective actions stick.
- Coordinate closely with engineering and supplier quality during launch and for several months post‑launch to ensure suppliers stabilize performance.
Operational Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
- Address urgent field service and modernization needs by expediting parts, identifying alternates, or escalating internally and externally to prevent service disruptions.
- Support obsolete part mitigation by partnering with engineering to find substitutes, redesign options, or new sources.
- Respond to supplier questions involving invoices, shipments, packing requirements, and payment issues by directing them to appropriate internal teams.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, quality, planning, field service teams, and regional commodity managers.
- Serve as the supply chain representative for supplier issues involving service parts, modernization projects, and repair components.
- Support reporting requirements for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
