The Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Quality Management to join a dynamic sourcing and production team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring product quality, factory compliance, and operational excellence across a diverse global supply base.
You will be responsible for driving quality standards across multiple production sites, conducting audits, and collaborating closely with vendors to uphold the brand's high expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute factory audits, including social compliance, technical, and quality system evaluations
- Oversee end-to-end quality control processes, from pre-production to final inspection
- Perform factory inspections at offshore production sites (Southeast Asia, China, Africa etc)
- Identify quality risks and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and compliance
- Analyze inspection data and produce actionable quality reports
- Support vendor on boarding and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with sourcing, production, and merchandising teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related discipline
- 5-8 years of experience in quality management within textile, garment, or apparel manufacturing
- Strong hands-on experience in: factory auditing (quality & compliance), quality control systems and processes, product inspection standards
- Proven exposure (SEA, China, Africa)
- Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence suppliers and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel frequently to offshore sites
- Fluency of English and Chinese speaking is a must
