Corporate Solution Sales Director (Defence Vertical)

We are partnering with a global logistics and supply chain organisation to appoint a commercially driven Sales Director focused on delivering customer solutions across complex and highly regulated environments. This UK-based role offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic growth across key accounts requiring secure, reliable, and tailored logistics services.
The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of customer-focused solutions, working closely with clients operating in regulated or high-security sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of freight forwarding, contract logistics, or 3PL services, alongside the ability to design and deliver bespoke supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth across key customer segments
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within complex and regulated industries
- Build strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on logistics solutions
- Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and compliance teams to develop tailored service offerings
- Lead commercial negotiations and oversee contract structuring and delivery
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and expansion
- Deliver against revenue, margin, and growth targets
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, contract logistics, or 3PL sales
- Strong track record of delivering customer solutions within regulated or high-security environments
- Demonstrated ability to win and grow complex, high-value accounts
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of compliance, risk, and operational requirements in regulated sectors
- Effective stakeholder management across internal and external partners
- Results-driven, with a proactive and strategic mindset
