Job Title: Distribution Planning Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 base salary

Position Summary
The Distribution Planning Manager is responsible for leading labor and budget planning within a high-volume distribution center. This role ensures efficient resource allocation, accurate forecasting, and cost-effective operations through strategic planning and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual facility budget for non-capital expenditures
• Forecast weekly volume projections and align labor and resources accordingly
• Create and maintain staffing models for regular, seasonal, and contract associates
• Monitor facility costs including labor, supplies, and miscellaneous expenses
• Lead a team focused on planning and optimizing product flow through the facility
• Collaborate with operations leadership to support distribution efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field and 3+ years of experience in distribution operations
  - OR -
  7+ years of progressive experience in warehouse/distribution operations
• Leadership experience with direct reports
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and data management systems
• Ability to work in a physical distribution environment (lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted)
