Location: Oxnard, CA
Annual Salary: $170,000 - $225,000 (full benefits, annual bonus, relocation assistance)
Overview
We are partnered with a leading paper manufacturing organization seeking a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to drive reliability, capital projects, and team performance at a high-output mill.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong experience in heavy manufacturing and maintenance strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop maintenance and engineering teams
- Drive KPI performance across reliability, downtime, and maintenance efficiency metrics
- Manage capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance budgets
- Troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues
- Ensure safety, environmental, and operational compliance
- Partner with vendors and contractors to implement new technologies and enhancements
- Oversee engineers, maintenance supervisors, groups of technicians.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Prior leadership experience in heavy manufacturing (preferably in pulp and paper)
- Strong background in reliability, PM/PdM, and RCA
- Experience with CMMS systems (Maximo preferred)
- Paper mill experience highly preferred
