Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

Location: Greater Allentown, PA

Salary: $ 120,000 - $130,000 base + bonus

Summary:

A reputable manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Engineering Project Manager for their Greater Allentown, PA facility.

Responsibilities:

The ideal Engineering Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Proven experience working with made-to-stock products
• Background in developing commercial or residential-grade products
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams through the full life cycle of new product development projects, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, and business goals.
• Coach and motivate team members, fostering accountability and clarity in roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, progress reports, and communication materials.
• Identify and manage risks, escalating critical issues and ensuring contingency plans are in place.
• Track project progress, manage dependencies, and ensure milestones are met using appropriate tools.
• Conduct post-project reviews, document lessons learned, and contribute to the development of best practices for future projects.

Qualifications

The ideal Engineering Project Manager will have the following skill set:

• 3+ years in a manufacturing setting
• 3+ years of experience in direct project management experience, specifically experience in stage or phase gate project management supporting new product development
• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and operations teams
