Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Maintenance Manager with proven experience in blow molding operations to lead our maintenance team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, including technicians and mechanics.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for blow molding equipment and auxiliary systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in blow molding (extrusion or injection stretch preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems.
