Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and proven leadership experience in maintenance management. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work order management and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and reliability best practices is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with wholesale building materials or similar manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
