A leading Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee electro‑mechanical maintenance operations within a highly automated material handling environment. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, leading technical teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of electro‑mechanical technicians supporting automated systems.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Monitor system performance and maintenance data, driving continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage maintenance schedules, labor planning, and work orders using a CMMS.
- Respond to system outages and critical maintenance issues with timely resolution.
- Oversee spare parts inventory to maintain equipment availability.
- Track KPIs related to uptime, productivity, and maintenance effectiveness.
- Partner with operations and site leadership to support production goals.
- Enforce safety standards, policies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience managing maintenance teams in industrial, manufacturing, or automated environments.
- Strong background in electrical, mechanical, and automated systems.
- Experience with material handling or warehouse automation systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of motors, drives, 3‑phase electrical systems, and basic PLC logic.
- Experience leading multi‑shift teams.
- Familiarity with OSHA and industrial safety standards.
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Work Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Flexible schedule to support operational needs.
- Willingness to travel as required for training or project support.
