Manufacturing Engineering Leader

This Manufacturing Engineering Leader will lead targeted projects to improve throughput, reduce inventory, and lower operating costs. The role focuses on driving labor cost reductions through cellular manufacturing and enhanced methods and equipment. Responsibilities include applying engineering standards, analyzing data for discrepancies, taking corrective action, documenting work, and maintaining internal and external customer communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor engineers in manufacturing and automation.
  • Align engineering priorities with production, quality, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical issues.
  • Optimize casting processes and drive root cause analysis.
  • Apply lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies (e.g., additive manufacturing, AI).
  • Support equipment upgrades and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing engineering.
  • U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship available)

Preferred:

  • Experience in investment casting and continuous improvement (Kaizen, waste elimination).
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, CAD, and time studies.
  • Financial literacy and technical guidance capabilities.
