A kitchen appliance manufacturing company in the greater New York City area is looking to bring on a Mechanical Design Engineer to help bring their products from concept into customers' homes. Their products are anything from professional‑grade grills and power burners to precision‑fabricated cabinets, doors, and drawers.
If you're a Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys precision fabrication, premium materials, owning designs across the full product lifecycle, and working in a hybrid setting then this job would be a strong fit for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing and developing stainless steel outdoor living products from early concepts through production.
- Creating and managing 3D CAD models, assemblies, BOMs, and detailed drawings in SolidWorks.
- Driving continuous improvement in product performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
- Apply (or develop) knowledge of gas flow and heat exchange to optimize product performance.
What They're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Strong SolidWorks proficiency.
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, sheet metal design, and fabrication processes.
- Experience with tolerance stack‑ups and dimensional verification.
- Experience with gas flow and heat exchange is a plus but not required.

- This is a hybrid role, offering partial remote flexibility with on-site collaboration.
